What was the highlight of The Residence on Thonglor by UHG
Nice place for a long term stay in Studio Junior Suite.
Studio Junior Suite was spacious, with comfortable bed and had a washing machine. Buffet breakfast was good. Lobby nice and comfortable.
Location was far from BTS and heavy traffic coming and going. Pool was ok but not too inviting. Dryer did not work well - clothes took way too long to dry - 12 hours.

Enjoyable and comfortable stay
Since we arrived almost midnight, only 1 staff was present and he was also accepting phone calls left and right. The hotel is good, the staff is helpful, the housekeeping is admirable, the buffet breakfast is nice, WIFI is strong.
There is limited clearance between the bed and the TV and no outlet near the desk for charging laptops or phones. But aside from this, there was no major issue, everything was fine.

Good
During my 6-day, 5-night stay, I enjoyed many aspects of the hotel; however, I believe there are some areas that could be improved, particularly in the Junior Suites. For the price point, I expected more luxurious amenities and better attention to detail. For instance, the water hose connected to the bathtub was constantly running cold water, which affected the overall comfort of the room. Addressing such maintenance issues and ensuring that all facilities function properly would go a long way in enhancing the guest experience. Additionally, considering the premium pricing, it would be beneficial to upgrade the in-room amenities to better align with the suite’s value. A more comprehensive range of amenities, such as high-quality toiletries, upgraded furniture, and more thoughtful touches (such as better lighting or modern tech features), would help the Junior Suites feel more worth the price.
